The most upscale version of the Range Rover Sport is the Autobiography model with four-corner air suspension, added low-speed transfer case and additional dynamic settings. The star of the Supercharged line is the 5.0L 510hp engine. The base engine is a 3.0L supercharged V6, then a turbocharged 3.0L TD6 diesel and the top 5.0L Supercharged.

Spofec exhaust systems are characterized by using the highest quality materials, a perfect fit and a matchless sound. At the systems with flap-regulation, the exhaust flaps can be controlled from the cockpit.

The Spofec wheels and tire combinations are the perfect application for maximum contact with the roads. The wheel and tire sizes are matched exactly to each vehicle and the design fits perfectly. SPOFEC wheels are made exclusively for Rolls Royce only.

The suspension control module CAN-Tronic intervenes in the control of the air suspension and lowers the ride height by about 40 millimeters at speeds below 140km/h. At higher speeds the body automatically reverts to its original level.

The Spofec high performance brake system with ventilated Carbon-Ceramic brake discs optimized the deceleration value of the vehicle by weight-saving at the same time.

In the development of the Spofec body parts there is a lot of emphasis placed on the aesthetics to ensure that the visual design accents do not drastically change the fundamentals of the Wraith.

The Bugatti Chiron is the world’s first super sports car to bring 1,500 horsepower onto the road with a torque of 1.600 Nm at 2,000 to 6,000 rpm with tremendous effectiveness, extremely high safety levels and unprecedented comfort. Acceleration: from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than 2.5 seconds

This is the result of the legendary and unique 8.0-litre W16 engine that has been newly developed by Bugatti. In combination with the four new, larger turbochargers that are controlled by the Bugatti two-stage turbocharging, an innovation that Bugatti is introducing, and a large number of other technical refinements and innovations, maximum performance is available constantly and can be easily controlled at all speeds. In its Top Speed mode, the car reaches the maximum speed of 420 km/h (260 mph), limited for road use – however, this is by no means the end of the road for the Bugatti Chiron.

With the new carbon fibre monocoque, a newly designed adaptive chassis, tyres developed especially for Bugatti and other innovative technologies, the Chiron is not only a champion in terms of maximum acceleration but is, for the first time, also an agile, modern Bugatti with handling that ensures maximum driving pleasure.

Only 500 of these exceptional cars are to be produced. The basic price is €2.4 million net. The first vehicle is due to be delivered to a customer this autumn.

Follow Nikki on Kate on the show on Transport Evolved SWAG us on we've seen mainstream automakers slowly make the transition from internal combustion engined vehicles to electric vehicles in recent years, high performance and prestige brands have been a little slower to adopt plug-in drivetrain technology.

But yesterday in Massachusetts, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini unveiled its first all-electric concept car in the form of the Terzo Millenio (Third Millenium). As concept cars go, this vehicle is a flight of fancy that's unlikely to make it to market in its current form. But, says Lamborghini, it's a vehicle that gives us a glimpse of where the brand hopes to go in the future, thanks to a partnership with MIT that is funding research into high-power Supercapacitors for electric cars, as well as structural battery packs and self-healing body work. 

Yet despite this, the Terzo Millennio is a beautiful 'what if' car for a brand that has until recently, stuck with the V-12 engine. Is this the car to change the future for the iconic Italian brand, or will it just be a concept car that we'll forget in a few months time?

From 1,500 rpm 800 Nm of torque is available (780 Nm for Ghost), while a wide rear track, shorter wheelbase and lower roof height further contribute to the most powerful, involving driving experience of any Rolls-Royce in history. The car's suspension has also been tuned to minimise body roll and discreetly amplify feedback when cornering; while steering weight is heavier at high speeds and lighter at low speeds adding to the spirited drive.

Miles Branman gets some seat-time in the $3 million Bugatti Veyron-replacing Chiron supercar. With 1500hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque being sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, the Chiron rockets to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 261 mph.

Land Rover Discovery SVX (2018) Ultimate Off-Road SUV

New 2018 Land Rover Discovery SVX adds extreme all-terrain capability to the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) product triangle. SVX will sit alongside the acclaimed Range Rover Sport SVR and Range Rover SVAutobiography, which are hallmarks for outstanding on-road performance and supreme luxury respectively.

Discovery SVX will be the first Land Rover hand-assembled by expert craftsmen at the SVO Technical Centre in the UK when production begins in 2018.

It will be offered exclusively with Jaguar Land Rover’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol powertrain, tuned to deliver 525 horsepower peak power and 625 Nm torque, along with suspension modifications to enhance driver confidence when tackling the toughest terrain.

Hydraulic Active Roll Control (H-ARC), is new to Discovery on SVX. It gives increased wheel articulation and improved body control, enhancing extreme off-road traction while also reducing body roll for smooth and sure-footed on-road driving.

Discovery SVX has improved approach, departure and breakover angles, achieved by raising both the lightweight aluminium monocoque architecture and the four-corner air suspension system, employing long-travel dampers and revised knuckles, and fitting larger 815mm diameter 275/55 R20 Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tyres on forged aluminium alloy wheels.

Tyres with higher side-walls reduce contact pressure and improve performance on soft surfaces. Combined with a more aggressive tread pattern, this improves grip in muddy conditions.

Discovery SVX is also equipped with active centre and electronic rear locking differentials which work with the specially tuned Terrain Response 2 system to optimise traction on all surfaces.

Complementing these hardware upgrades are unique software calibrations for the eight-speed automatic transmission with twin-speed transfer box, and Discovery’s dynamics systems including Hill Descent Control, Electronic Traction Control (ETC), Adaptive Dynamics, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) and variable ratio electric power-assisted steering (EPAS). Discovery SVX also features a model-first Pistol Shifter in place of the Drive select rotary shifter to offer the driver optimum control of gear selection in off-road manoeuvres.

To visually reflect Discovery SVX’s inherent robustness and go-further ability, Land Rover designers have referenced features of iconic Discovery off-road challenge vehicles, such as those used for Camel Trophy and G4 Challenge events, to give SVX a distinctive, aggressive and purposeful appearance inside and out.

Mansory Kit wrapped in a two tone satin red and chrome vinyl. Then dropped it on a set of 24" Forgiato Tessi ECL wheels. Definitely a head turner while it cruises the streets. Part 1 - Going to the airport in a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Pur Blanc to pickup the owner of the car who has yet to see it in person. This was an unreal experience and I'm extremely happy for my friend for acquiring another gem in his collection. This time he really outdid himself and picked up a Veyron Super Sport which is a 1 off special edition called the Pur Blanc which stands for "pure white" which is on par with the rest of his collection of all white cars (except the cobalt blue Porsche!). The shock on everyones face was really funny watching as we rolled through the arrival terminal at LAX in 2 matte white supercars. With the wing up on the Veyron I don't think anyone even paid attention to the Panamera haha!

This Range Rover Is A Piece Of Restored British Royalty

This week we take a stately stroll through Redditch, England in an olive (but not drab!) Range Rover that’s hiding an unusually high-class past.

Having embedded the marque into his life after completing an engineering apprenticeship at Land Rover in the 1990s, Phil Holland, owner of Twenty-Ten Engineering, knows his way around classic Range Rovers. From nut-and-bolt resurrections of all but lost scrapyard-bound Rovers, to refurbishing genuine barn finds, the ranges in which Phil is willing to scale in saving these British motoring staples knows no bounds.

With a career in rebuilding these old off-roaders, it’s no surprise Phil has uncovered some with interesting history over the years, but nothing’s quite as remarkable as the pale green box-on-wheels filmed here. A customer found this particular example abandoned in a farmyard in a rather poor state of care (read: neglect). It had been off the road for so long that there were no records of its last Ministry of Transport (MOT) inspection, indicating it had been many, many years since it was last roadworthy.

A lot of classic cars tend to carry storied pasts by way of sheer age, but occasionally vintage machines are sold by overzealous owners who tie delusions of grandeur to their sale in hopes of increasing appeal and value. This doesn’t apply here. Phil tells us, “As the guy collected it, somebody—who worked or lived at the premises where it came from—made a reference, ‘Oh I think that used to belong to the Queen.’ ” Oh sure, of course it belonged to the British Royal Family.

Obviously, this bit of weightless hearsay wasn’t taken all that seriously, but the Land Rover Heritage Division uncovered the truth: this Range Rover was sold new and delivered directly to the Royal Household. “It’s a proper, original Royal car. There’s still a bit of an investigation going on to try and work out exactly who drove it and owned it. But they didn’t have a huge amount of cars so it’s probably been touched by some of the better known Royals I expect,” says a still shocked Phil.

After this incredible history was confirmed, the owner felt obligated to return the Range Rover to its proper former Royal glory. “It hasn’t been the quickest car we’ve restored,” Phil admits, “It’s taken about 18 months to two years between arriving and leaving finished, but obviously the work has paid off.” Like a member of the Royal Household, sporting pursuits are equally as important as looking magnificent back at the palace. After a quick jaunt through the English countryside, Turtle Wax M.A.X. Power Car Wash ensures this Range Rover looks the part.

Happy with the finished restoration, Phil proudly boasts, “It’s certainly stunning looking now. There aren't a lot of others out there that are going to compare to it, and certainly not with the history with the Royal Family behind it. It’s a very, very unique vehicle from the mid-70s.” We have to agree. It looks fit for a Queen.
