The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

But these aren’t simply vehicles that fit within the ‘supercar’ label. These are the best of the best – the most amazing supercars in the world.
The car manufacturers who have produced these sexy, sleek models are familiar to even the most casual of auto enthusiasts. Lamborghini, BMW, Porsche, Mazzeratti, Mercedes, McLaren and more, hardly brands that you are likely to see on the secondary sale market at a discount. Like every year, I've made a compilation of the best exhaust sounds I've filmed in the year 2014. I went to many circuits, events and some nice meetings to recording the best car videos. Owning a supercar is a special kind of experience. It's the kind of car that gets attention everywhere you go, brings all kinds of emotions to its owner, and is the one you quickly grab the keys for on a sunny afternoon to attack your favorite twisty roads. McLaren certainly knows how to build the perfect supercar, just be prepared to shell out at least $212,000 for their latest hardtop convertible. The Porsche 911 may be more easier to live with, but the McLaren will bring far more attention and emotional drama to its owner.

We've got modern hypercars like the Lamborghini Centenario, Bugatti Chiron, Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, Aston Martin Vulcan, McLaren P1 LM, Rimac Concept_one, Pagani Huayra BC, Koenigsegg Agera RS. In the Michelin Supercar Paddock at the Goodwood Festival of Speed there is an awful lot to see and the list just goes on: McLaren 720S, Bentley Supersports, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Noble M600 Speedster, Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato, Pagani Zonda Oliver and so many more.
Here we go for a walkaround of the paddock to take a look at all of the cars on show including a walk over to Bugatti to find the line-up of 8 cars including 2 Chirons and 6 Veyrons, then lastly the Cartier Style and Luxe lawn with a string of 60s Ferraris, classic Aston Martins and also some more recent supercars like the Porsche Carrera GT and Koenigsegg CC8S.
